UFC Fight Nights Heads to Galaxy Arena for 2026
After a short hiatus and sporadic appearances, the UFC is now returning more firmly to the Special Administrative Region Galaxy Entertainment Grouphas confirmed that it will be hosting UFC Fight Nightsat Macau’s Galaxy Arena from 2026through 2029, part of a new multi-year partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. This is an important step forward for both companies, as they seek to expand their entertainment footprint and have agreed that popularizing sport in the region could yield strong dividends. Thanks to this partnership, the Galaxy Arenawill also hold the UFC’s Roadto UFC, a special event that allows players to secure a position in the main UFC events by winning to advance. Commenting on the opportunity, Macau Galaxy Entertainment Group chief operating officer, Kevin Kelley, said: “This partnership reflects our ongoing support for the Macao SAR Government’s vision to integrate tourism and sports.” Thanks to the tie-up, he continued, MMAand UFCfans in Macau would have the chance to witness top-tier action at home, while the diversification in the entertainment options would also offer something to visitors of the city as well. UFC president and CEO Dana White, who is a bit of a blackjack savant and credited with the success of the organization as a business juggernaut, was similarly pleased to tie this partnership. “This new partnership with Galaxy Macau couldn’t come at a better time. It’s great for fight fans in China and massive for the sport,” White added. The UFC has mostly stuck to high-profile events over the past years, but this more permanent contract with Galaxy will allow the promotion to return in strength and offer its signature events once again.
